Spring is the perfect time to get chickens. Many people prefer to buy pullets. Pullets do not require the care chicks do. Pullets are available at your local feed store. Pullets are young hens getting read to lay eggs. If you are in a hurry to get fresh eggs then pullets are probably a good choice for you.
- Wondering What Happened to the Lil Kinz Webkinz? By:-Alan Kowalke
Although Ganz has never come out and said it and probably never will, the younger Webkinz customers and collectors probably have a harder time coping with it, but the Lil' Kinz line has effectively been discontinued (or put on hiatus is a better phrase for it.)
- Building a Chicken House By:-kor rassad
If you wish to raise chickens in your home, then making a backyard chicken coop or a hen house is a must. Only healthy and comfortable chickens who feel safe in their surroundings produce the greatest eggs and sustaining them in a pen built of just chicken wire will not make them feel this way.

Nearly all people enjoy family pets and it is the particular personal preference of the particular individual which sort of pet will be perfect for his or her house. This may be a fish that is inside a fish tank which has to be fed as well as the tank cleaned out no less than once a 7-day period, a dog that must be fed, walked and bathed and even some thing as furry and lovable as a pussy-cat.
- Hence you wish for a puppy - fact or Fiction ? By:-eddie hunter
Picture this picture - It’s the weekend and it’s a nice morning. You take the puppy with a ball and the family to the neighborhood forest where you like to hike and give the dog exercise and observe the children having fun playing with the dog. My other view, which sees you walking into the living room to see the dog resting on the couch, lying comfortably flanked by the children, watching the box in front of an open fire.

The top priority of a pet owner should be ensuring your pet is healthy. This is no different with a cat, dog or bird. - The Right Saddle By:-Timothy Aston
Cheap and saddle honestly do not belong together in the same sentence. Why? Because quite literally, you DO get what you pay for if you buy a cheap saddle. And it's not just that you will be uncomfortable, but it will not make your horse all that happy either, and may actually harm him.
- Caring For Older Horses By:-Timothy Aston
Have an older horse companion in your pasture? Bless their hearts they have such stories they can tell. In terms of being considered a senior horse, if your equine is 20 or older he is a veteran or campaigner. This age by the way would make him about a 60 year old human.
- Horse Care - Cooling Off By:-Timothy Aston
It's over 40 degrees in the baking sun and you can't even walk outside without feeling like you've been drained of every ounce of energy you ever had. If you feel this way, imagine how your horse feels. Pretty much the same. If you are hot, so are they.
- Equine Flu and Allergies By:-Timothy Aston
Did you realize your horse could have allergies? It makes sense if you consider the type of environment they live in. If they are not outside (and in some instances even if they are) they can have an allergic reaction to dust, moulds, smoke, and other airborne allergens like burning smudges, bug spray and perfumes or medicinal odours.
- Horse Language By:-Timothy Aston
Yes, horses have a language of their own, and unfortunately many of us are not as aware of it as we should be. It's a big mistake to not know their language, as it could mean problems for us in the long run. Every swivel of the ear(s), hip movement, tail flick and facial expression means something. This is the language horses use to speak to other horses, and to us - if only we would listen.
